so i have been remiss in sharing my experiences in san diego. there are many which i need to recount. mostly are in the category of 'Weird and Strange Things I've Seen'. within that category falls something that i just cannot forget to share, so i am doing it now. the rest will come later.
obviously the title of this blogging tells you i saw 500 days of summer, which was excellent. i thoroughly enjoyed it. what i want to tell is after the movie. when walking out of the theater, the lights had not come up yet, and so it was pretty dark. but i didn't miss the lady in front of me holding her miniature schnauzer in her arms, and saying to the people next to her "...i know... wasn't he so good...". all i could think was "really?? really??" wow i was so blown away by the fact i just watched a movie with a dog.
several seconds later, i realized he was pretty well behaved, since i had no clue he was even there. and i found myself wondering if they had made her pay extra to bring in her dog. it was pretty crazy.
welcome to san diego. :)
